WHEREAS, The Constitution of the United States recognizes that every citizen has the right to a quick and speedy trial; and

WHEREAS, The Constitution calls for no cruel or unusual punishments; and

WHEREAS, The citizens arrested during and surrounding the events of January the 6th of 2021 have sat in jail, where they have been singled out for punishment and harassment by the prison wards; and

WHEREAS, they have been abused, denied visitation from loved ones and their basic human rights; and

WHEREAS, they are being treated as domestic terrorists when they are in fact American Citizens; and

WHEREAS, The Capitol belongs to We the People; and

WHEREAS, We have video footage of security agents opening the doors on January the 6th and ushering patriots in and around the Capitol; and

WHEREAS, The security footage from that day has been and continues to be largely withheld from the American people and restricted from these patriots in preparing for trial; and

WHEREAS, we have video footage and many eye-witness testimonies of the police brutality surrounding that day, including the murder of Ashli Babbitt who was unarmed, along with the brutal death of Rosanne Boyland, who was beaten mercilessly to death on the Capitol steps; and

WHEREAS, A cherished and long time held American value has been innocent until proven guilty; and

WHEREAS, these people have been maligned and slandered by the media; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Congress of the United States release the full security footage to the American people and all alleged offenses brought against the citizens arrested during and surrounding the events of January the 6th of 2021 be dropped and these political prisoners set free immediately without further delay.
